Annawan Police need your help in solving the theft of an ATM from an Annawan convenience store early Tuesday morning.
Annawan Police, along with the Henry County Sheriff’s Department and Illinois State Police, responded to a call at the Shell Express, 306 N. Canal St. at about 1:40 AM on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Entry had been forced through the front doors of the store and the ATM, which was near the front doors, was was dragged out of the building. It appeared that an ATV was used to smash the doors.
Annawan Police are asking for anyone with information about this crime, or any other recent ATM thefts in the area, to call Annawan police at 309-935-6250 or the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, 309-937-3911.
